Sofa prices vary enormously — from €400 to €10,000. This guide explains what you get in each price bracket.
Under €800: budget range
Frames made of MDF or chipboard. Standard foam. Plastic connectors. Life expectancy of 3–5 years. Often attractive to look at — but the quality starts to show after 2–3 years.
€800–1,500: mid-range
Solid wood frames become possible, along with better foam. Furni's range starts in this segment — direct from the manufacturer, with no retail mark-up.
€1,500–3,000: premium
HR foam (35+ kg/m³), solid wood frames, metal connectors and quality fabrics. This is the segment in which a sofa lasts 10–15 years. Furni's main collections sit here.
Over €3,000
Premium brands and designer collections. You are paying for the brand name, the designer and retail overheads — not necessarily for better materials than in the segment below.
Why buying direct from the manufacturer costs less
Furni manufactures in its own factory in Greater Poland (Wielkopolska) and delivers without any middlemen. A sofa that would cost €3,000 in a shop is available from Furni for €1,500–2,000, with equivalent materials.
